Packing your Space

• Place pallets or plastic on the floor
• Leave a walkway to the rear of the unit
• Place frequently retrieved items near the front
• Place valuables in the rear of the unit
• Tables having removable legs should be "broken down" to save space
• Sofas and love seats can be stored on end to save floor space

• List contents of boxes on 3x5 note cards instead of on each box.Number the boxes to match card numbers. Keep cards in a safe convenient place for use when unpacking.
• Use uniform size boxes for easy stacking.
• Dishes and glasses should be wrapped in paper and packed in sturdy boxes.

• Furniture with drawers can be utilized as storage space.
  
• Use a good quality lock on your door. Cheap locks are not as sercure and can rust.
